LEARNING NEED
Understand company policy and the process to follow if a situation arises.
DESIGN RESPONSE
Make employee responsibilities and reporting steps clear through workplace examples, interactive questions, and dedicated policy guidance.
Workplace Anti-Violence & Harassment · Workplace learning
I developed this course for employees in nonmanagement roles. It needed to make the company policy and response process clear and would later be rolled out to other countries in five languages. Anticipating the additional production work, I presented Articulate Rise to the SME as an option for creating the course rapidly.

PROJECT SHOWCASE
01 · CHALLENGE
It was critical that employees knew the company policy and what to do if they encountered workplace violence or harassment. The planned rollout to other countries in five languages also meant substantially more production work. I needed an approach that kept development practical while making the response process clear for employees outside management.
02 · HOW I DESIGNED IT
I presented the SME with the option of using Articulate Rise to create the course rapidly, taking the additional work of five planned language versions into account. The learning itself focused on company policy, employee responsibilities, and the reporting process. Workplace examples and knowledge checks reinforced what employees should do if a situation arose.

LEARNING NEED
DESIGN RESPONSE
Organize definitions, responsibilities, and reporting procedures into clear lessons with opportunities to check understanding.
03 · PROCESS HIGHLIGHTS
My choice of Rise was shaped by the production requirements as well as the learning need. I considered the workload of five language versions, discussed a rapid development option with the SME, and built the employee course around clear policy guidance.
01
Consider the additional production work required when the course is later rolled out to other countries in five languages.
02
Explain to the SME how choosing Rise would support rapid course development in light of the planned language versions.
03
Develop the course in Rise using definitions, responsibility sections, workplace examples, reporting guidance, and knowledge checks.
04 · DELIVERY
The completed course brings company policy, definitions, employee responsibilities, reporting procedures, and knowledge checks into one learning experience for employees in nonmanagement roles. Rise was selected to support rapid development ahead of the planned international rollout in five languages. The video above shows the course's interactions and learning structure.

05 · RESULT
The course gives employees a structured way to understand company policy and the process to follow when a concern arises. The project also demonstrates how I align learning needs with production requirements: discuss an efficient development option with the SME and account for the work of a broader international rollout.
